The St Andrews Golf Festival is a supporter of a number of charities. Please take some time to read about them below.

For over 125 years CHILDREN 1ST has been working to build a brighter future for Scotland's vulnerable children and families. At CHILDREN 1ST we listen, we support and we take action by delivering services in homes and communities across Scotland. We work to safeguard children and young people, to support them within their families and to help them to recover from abuse, neglect and violence. We speak out for
children's rights and we campaign to change attitudes.

CHILDREN 1ST provides local services across Scotland as well as national services including ChildLine Scotland, a service delivered in Scotland by CHILDREN 1ST on behalf of the NSPCC. CHILDREN 1ST also runs ParentLine Scotland (0800 028 2233 ), the free, national telephone helpline for parents and carers.  For more information about how we work to keep children safe in Scotland, visit

St Andrews Pilgrim Foundation

St Andrews Pilgrim FoundationThe St Andrews Pilgrim Foundation is a registered charity, based in the world famous Home of Golf, St Andrews, Scotland that aims to raise funds to help with the restoration and upkeep of the conservation area of the old town.

It does this mainly by running internet auctions on eBay and QXL of extremely attractive golf packages, typically for four people and containing rounds of golf on prestigious golf courses (the Old Course, Kingsbarns, the Carnoustie etc), luxury accommodation in hotels (Old Course Hotel, Fairmont St Andrews) plus other attractive items such as a personal tour of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club. In addition they offer a unique and rare opportunity to play in the annual Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Their Honorary President is Sir Michael Bonallack OBE, the former secretary of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club. They are supported by many distinguished patrons including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros and Tony Jacklin to mention only a few.

The Seve Ballesteros Foundation

No one brought more excitement to the game than Seve Ballesteros. His flair and dynamic golf brought thousands of new golfers into the sport. The golfing world was truly heartbroken when Seve passed away in 2011 and we are truly honoured to be helping raise awareness of the Foundation and its’ remarkable ambitions.
